100 Days of LJ -- Day 127
My eldest nephew's wedding reception ran until midnight, and I didn't get back to my hotel until well after 1 AM. I am still "recovering" from the party... and I had a long drive to get back home today. Once again, I shant be posting a single blessed character to LJ this evening, as I am emotionally wrung out after an interminable commute home -- a trip which normally takes but a single hour lasted damned near 180 minutes... and for well over 60 of those minutes the vehicle I was on did not move a friggin' inch ( Read more... ) -

The day actually went a whole lot better than I expected -- Though "Summer Streets" was not your typical NYC street festival, what we experienced was still a lot of fun. Admittedly, a lot of it had to do with the fact that it was an absolutely gorgeous day -- lots of sunshine, low humidity, temperature around 75 F (24 C). The only minor issue ( Read more... ) -

As I mentioned in a friend's LJ, I will not be going back to see THE TEMPEST this season, no matter who asks me or how much they beg -- A member of the theater staff recognized me the last time I got ticket vouchers, and I had to lie through my teeth when he asked me how many times I won vouchers before.
